  Dr. Johnson's responsibilities include:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain an early detection survey program to intercept and control plant and honey bee pests that threaten Florida's native plant and agricultural resources.
  • Plan and coordinate pest survey programs
  • Participate in the planning and coordination of treatments for newly introduced exotic pests
  • Participate in the preparation of reports and other documents including site-specific assessments
