  Dr. Ruiz’s responsibilities include:

• Assisting clients with crop nutrient management, proper soil sampling procedures, and interpreting soil analyses to maximize yields of oil, food, fiber, wildlife and landscape crops.
• Developing a facility for plant disease diagnosis and nematode identification.
• Providing presentations to growers throughout the Southeastern U.S. on crop nutrient management.
