Description of Experiment
Late blight of potato (see Fact Sheet --404KB pdf-- and Extension Publication--229KB pdf ), caused by Phytopthora infestans, is one of the most devastating diseases of this crop. It has caused major losses and has been the cause of international immigrations of large populations of people. The pathogen is present in all potato growing areas. This test is being conducted to evaluate newly developed fungicides with current standard fungicides that are being used to control the pathogen.
