Description of Experiment
This study is being conducted to develop an understanding of the way in which a proprietary product that is being used as a fungicide brings about control of the fungus. Initially, the fungal spores are being examined visually before and after exposure to the test compound. The spores will also be evaluated pre- and post- exposure for metabolic changes, expressed as the presence of new proteins within the spore. The spores are also being examined with florescence microscopy to determine if specific metabolic sites within the spore are affected by exposure to the test compound.
