Integrated Management of Fusarium oxysporum in Ornamentals, UF-IFAS, PMP Clinical Trials

Megan Gilbert worked as a research assistant in the Plant Medicine Program Clinical Trials in 2005-2007 to evaluate the effectiveness of disinfestants in inactivating F. oxysporum and to examine the occurrence of resistance in the fungus to commercial fungicides. Her research supported by the American Floral Endowment identified a number of effective disinfestants and identified a high incidence of resistance in F. oxysporum to a number of commonly used fungicides.
