Ornamental/Vegetable Pest Inspections, FDACS/ Dept of Plant Industry, FL


Osmond Baron conducted nursery, greenhouse, and field surveys of numerous ornamental and vegetable crops for arthropods and pathogens with FDACS/DPI. He detected leaf spot and blight on Tolmeia menziesii caused by Colletotrichum acutatum and powdery mildew on flax caused by Oidium sp. were first reports for the state.
