Wine production and viticulture research, Ernest and Julio Gallo Wineries, Modesto, CA


John Porter

John Porter worked for 6 months in 2005 as a production and research intern with the Ernest and Julio Winery in Modesto, CA. Porter assisted Gallo’s viticulture research department which is engaged in conducting field experiments in the vineyards, and working on projects to improve the yield and quality of the grapes produced.
